The Girardi papers consist largely of the typed or autograph manuscripts of novels, novellas, screenplays, and short stories, both published and unpublished, of Robert Girardi. Included are manuscripts and publisher's page proofs for the novels 'Madeleine's ghost' (1995), 'The pirate's daughter' (1997), and 'Vaporetto 13' (1997). Among the many unpublished works are several stories intended for inclusion in the collection 'A vaudeville of devils' (1999) but not appearing in the published volume. Accompanying the manuscripts are several autograph notebooks, a few letters from publishers, and miscellaneous college papers.
